ABOUT:FASHION – Germany's first career advice service in the field of fashion for pupils, fashion students, fashion professionals, fashion schools and companies.

about:FASHION offers individual coaching as well as sound study and career advice, specialized in the fashion industry. Founder Silke Geib has been accompanying school leavers, students and fashion professionals on their individual career paths in a diverse range of studies since 2010. In addition, ABOUT:FASHION works with universities and fashion schools throughout Germany. There, Silke Geib teaches fashion students study content and gives workshops that are specially and individually developed for the fashion schools. 

Silke Geib worked successfully for ten years as a fashion designer in other European countries for international fashion houses such as:

• Maison Margiela (Paris)
• Ann Demeulemeester (Antwerp)
• Viktor & Rolf (Amsterdam)
• Bless (Paris)
• J. Lindeberg (Stockholm)

This was followed by a position as (fashion design) lecturer at the renowned Esmod Berlin Academy of Fashion Arts. 

In 2010 Silke founded her own fashion label Blaenk, for which she and her business partner were awarded the prestigious Berlin Senate "Start your Fashion Business Award" in 2012. 

This was followed by an invitation from VOGUE editor-in-chief Christiane Arp to participate in the coveted VOGUE Salon, where Blaenk presented several collections to an international trade audience during Berlin Fashion Week. 

With ABOUT:FASHION, Silke has been a member of the advisory board of the "Designer for Tomorrow" fashion competition since 2011.
